Episode 35: Ariel Castro & The Seymour Avenue Kidnappings

Hey Buds and Meat Bags,

For over a decade, three missing women were living less than two miles from the families who never stopped looking for them; locked inside the home of a man who, at one point, joined the search for one of them himself.

Between 2002 and 2004, Cleveland school bus driver Ariel Castro abducted Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus one at a time, and held them captive inside a house on Seymour Avenue rigged with padlocks, alarms, and blacked-out windows. It would be nearly a decade before any of them saw the outside world again.

Sam & Briana trace Castro's history from a violently abusive first marriage to the calculated abductions of Michelle, Amanda, and Gina, through years of captivity, forced pregnancies, and a neighborhood full of missed warning signs, to the afternoon a neighbor kicked in a door and ended it.

Spark up some Gusherlicious and settle in.
