ABOUT KUSH & CRIME: A TRUE CRIME POTCAST

So, What Is This Exactly?

Kush & Crime is a true crime potcast — yes, potcast, and yes, it's intentional — where we cover some of the most fascinating, disturbing, and downright bizarre criminal cases from around the world. We do it honestly, we do it thoroughly, and we do it with a little something to take the edge off.

No corporate polish. No scripted outrage. Just two friends, a genuine obsession with true crime, and the firm belief that the best way to get through the dark stuff is together.

New episodes drop every Wednesday. You've been warned

How It Started

Kush & Crime started the way most good things do — out of pure obsession and a refusal to shut up about it.

What began as one person going way too deep on cases that kept her up at night eventually became a show. Then it became a community. Then life happened, the way life does, and the show went quiet for a while.

But here's the thing about a real obsession: it doesn't go away. It just waits.

After a three-year hiatus, Kush & Crime is back — new season, new co-host, same relentless need to understand why people do the things they do. We've got a full lineup of cases, a brand new weekly format, and absolutely zero chill about any of it.

KUSH & CRIME TEAM

Briana.

Briana is our Kush Enthusiast, an animal lover first and foremost, who came on as a guest for the 4/20 bonus episode, fit in immediately, and never really left. True crime is new territory for her — which means her reactions are real and unfiltered, and she is going to say the thing you're thinking before Sam even finishes the sentence.

Together, we are exactly what Kush & Crime needed for a comeback. A little chaotic, deeply curious, and completely unable to let a good case go.

Sam

Sam — and everyone needs a Sam — is a true crime enthusiast, Harry Potter nerd, avid reader, and your fragile meat-bag host. She is the one who started this whole thing, the one who has read every case file you're about to hear, and the one who will absolutely go fifteen minutes too long on a detail she finds fascinating. She's been covering cases since the beginning, and she's still not over a single one of them.

What to Expect

Every Wednesday, we drop a new episode covering a true crime case — solved, unsolved, infamous, overlooked, domestic, international. If it's fascinating, we're covering it.

Beyond the episodes, the blog is where we go deeper. Case deep-dives, full timelines, Briana's weekly reaction posts, and the occasional Strain of the Day for the Buds who want the full experience.

We don't sensationalize. We don't exploit. We take the cases seriously, even when we don't take ourselves seriously — which is most of the time.

Buds & Meat Bags: The Kush & Crime Community

The Buds — that's you — are the best part of this whole thing. The case suggestions, the theories, the messages asking if we were ever coming back — they kept this show alive during three years of silence.

Have a case you think we need to cover? We mean it when we say we read every single suggestion. Hit us on the Case Suggestion page and tell us what we're missing.
